Sylvain Melloul began his career in Paris, France and went on to join the L’Oréal Professionnel Artistic Team, where he educated hairdressers in contemporary techniques and professional standards.

His career expanded internationally as he built and operated successful salon businesses across Paris, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles.

His reputation grew through word of mouth, eventually counting a former First Lady of the United States among his personal clients, traveling the world aboard Air Force One, alongside celebrities including Britney Spears.

Sylvain’s experience continues to shape OMNA’s cosmetology program today.

The curriculum reflects his philosophy of technical precision, understanding why techniques work, and holding students to professional standards developed through decades of industry practice.
